Can best friends become lovers while the cameras are rolling?

Movie star Gideon Kelly has always harbored a secret crush for his long-time friend and assistant, Sarah. One sizzling kiss is enough to convince him she’s the only woman for him, and he’ll do anything to prove to her they have all the makings of an epic Hollywood romance.

Sarah Holtz rose to stardom as a child only to crash and burn in her late teen years. Gideon was there to help put the pieces of her life back together, and she now relishes her life far away from the paparazzi flashes. Her need for privacy is the one thing holding her back from exploring something more with him. When a video of their kiss goes viral, she’s left wondering if he’s worth the risk of stepping back into the spotlight to become his leading lady.

My Review

It 's a funny and romantic story, so engaging that it is impossible to put it down. The two protagonists are so easy to love, I have enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Gideon is a famous actor,  at the height of his success. Sarah was becoming such a fantastic actress but then completely ruined her career. Now she is the assistant of Gideon. They are very attracted to each other but are a little afraid to ruin their friendship. He tried to declare himself but Sarah refused, fortunately continued to work for him. Now he is determined to conquer her,  in any way. Will he convince her?
The chemistry between Sarah and Gideon is magical and incredible. Gideon is charming, funny, gallant. He tries to convince Sarah with sweetness and with the depth of his feelings. Sarah has made so many mistakes and are afraid of failure. The thing she wants most is her independence and perhaps has found the right path.
The story was well written, cute and quick, with some twists and great dialogues.
It's the seventh book in the series of Kelly Brothers: each book may be enjoyed as a stand alone but for more enjoyment read the whole series.
I recommend it to those who love contemporary romance
I received an advanced reader copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
