From USA Today bestselling author Pamela Aares comes Love in the Vineyard, the seventh book in the Tavonesi family series featuring passion, mystery, and well-won love!

A one-night stand brought Natasha Raley the greatest gift of her life—her son. She wants to give him a better life than she had, but a gambling bet lands both of them in a homeless shelter. When the shelter director gives her a ticket to a masquerade ball, Natasha finds herself dancing with the most intriguing and mysterious man she’s ever met.

Adrian Tavonesi is creating a paradise on earth in Sonoma California, determined to be worthy of his vast fortune by making the world a better place. Convinced women only like him for his money and his status, he invents an anonymous relationship with the beautiful Natasha to create a dream world for both of them.

As passion flares into an all-consuming affair, the lies Adrian and Natasha have told each other threaten to ruin everything. Adrian is kind, generous, and sincere—Natasha knows he would be the ideal father for her son. But will her past and the devastating gamble she once made destroy her new world? Or will betting on the truth this time lead to the perfect, ever-lasting love?

My Review

This is a charming story that is beautifully written with a good pace and likeable and easy to love characters.
Natasha has had a really hard life: she was run away from home looking for a better life and found only a boy drunk and violent. He left, however, a wonderful gift, her son Tyler. She tries to give him a better life of her own but is not easy. She suffers from dyslexia and is rarely able to find a definitive work. After losing her last job she is forced to go and live in a residence for homeless single mothers. Here they procure her a good job at Casa del Sole Vineyard and maybe her life is starting to improve.
Adrian has just moved from Rome to California. He loves his vineyards and is completely dedicated to the care of Casa del Sole Vineyard. He hopes to find a woman who really loves him and is not attracted only by his money. At a masquerade party Adrian and Natasha meet and discover that they need each other.....
Natasha is a great characters. She's a strong woman, tenacious, despite the many difficulties she has never surrendered. She's a sweet and protective mother, willing to make many sacrifices in order to  make her child happy. Adrian is a good man, generous, wants to split the fortune he has inherited with those who really need it. I loved all the other characters, I can not wait to read previous books to know them better.
It 's a novel intriguing and romantic, sweet with a little mystery and humor. It's really addictive, a reading that warms the heart. I like the style of this writer, her descriptions are full of detail and vivid, it's easy to imagine yourself there, at Casa del Sole. I also enjoyed the various references to baseball.
Although it is the seventh book of The Tavonesi Series can be read easily as stand alone.
I recommend it to those who love romance.
I received an advanced reader copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
