My Review

This second book is much more exciting and mysterious than the first one.

Lia and Alastair are in love and happy even if they live in two different continents. He makes her so many expensive gifts and they try to stay together longer than they can. But Lia's friends try to warn her, not to trust Alastair because he is an authoritarian, who always gets what he wants and belongs to a family without scruples. To make matters even worse comes Nathan, the former boyfriend of Lia: he wants to reclaim her and does everything to insinuate doubts about the true nature of Alastair. Will they stay together despite the many difficulties?

It 's a well-written novel, romantic, passionate, mysterious, funny, humorous. It catches you from the first page and it is very difficult to put it down.

It's better to read books of the series in order to better appreciate the love story of Lia and Alastair. I can not wait to read the third book.
