Eva Connor, a petite spitfire, has an opinion on everything and you know it whether you want to or not. However, her confidence is shaken when she’s used as leverage against Matt’s inquiries. With this case now personal for Matt and Joe, they will do whatever’s necessary to protect the women they love. As the ensemble hunts for this new bio-weapon, the dangers intensify putting their lives at greater risk.

My review

In the lab where Dr. Madeline Pierce works, disappear substances to make meth and is sent to investigate an FBI agent, Joe Roberts. Joe and Madeline have to pretend to be a couple in order to uncover the mystery and always working alongside the chemistry will turn on and go from fiction to reality. In the same city are found dead bodies, were killed by their pets. Matt is investigating these cases, he's a local law enforcement and husband of Eva, sister of Joe. When they realize that the two events are linked, they work together in the investigation.
It 's really well written, has a good pace, the plot is very original, is really fascinating, full of suspense. The characters are many and all are well characterized, intelligent, competent, fun and very addicting interaction between them. It 's hard to stop reading once you start.
Must read for anyone who loves romantic suspense and medical thriller.
