My Review:
It 's a fantasy exciting, original and very romantic
Arabella has lost the love of her life. A love story between a mortal and a selkie can't work. The only thing left to her is the child she is carrying. But she has to think about his future so she decides to make a marriage of convenience, far away from her home, in Canada.
It's the second book in the series, I recommend reading the series in order for a smoother and more pleasant reading
This was a fun and enjoyable read. The plot was well woven and all the characters were interesting, with an adorable heroine, strong and stubborn.
I recommend it to those who want to read a fantasy different from usual

EXCERPT:
“Hallo, I’m Arabella,” she greeted the man lying on the bed.
At least he was fully clothed. Surely he didn’t expect her to anticipate the
wedding the first night she arrived. She hid her trembling hands in the folds
of her skirt.
“Hello, Arabella. As you know, I’m D’Arcy Rowan. Welcome to
my home.” He stretched out a large callused hand toward her.
Bella moved closer to the bed and placed her smaller hand in
his. The huge paw engulfed hers in a firm but surprisingly gently grip.
“Pleased to meet you,” she said awkwardly. What did one say to the man who had
basically purchased you sight unseen to be his wife. Bella was at a loss to
find the proper words.
“Pull that chair over and sit down, Arabella. I think there
are things we need to get straight between us.”
He seemed very formal, almost distant. She did as he asked
and settled on the chair by the bedside. Bella folded her hands in her lap and
waited for him to say whatever it was he wanted her to know. She was hardly in
a position to make any demands, and she wasn’t familiar enough with the
situation to even know what questions to ask. While she waited she surveyed the
man from behind lower lashes. He was tall and broad shouldered, the long legs
almost sticking over the end of the bed. Dark hair stuck up as if he had run
his fingers through it while a wayward piece fell over his forehead.

RispondiEliminaHi Kim, Thanks for coming by. Arabella is headstrong and single minded sometimes and doesn't always make the best decisions, but it makes for an interesting story.
EliminaHow long on average does it take you to write a book?
