My Review
Every book by Deborah Garner never disappoints: an interesting and well developed plot, fascinating and smart characters and a charming set.
Paige MacKenzie is a journalist and have to write an article about Old West railroad history. She'll find herself involved in the secrets of the Hutchins family, an unsolved mystery for almost one hundred years.
The author makes some wonderful and very detailed descriptions of places and landscapes that really seems to be there with Paige and Jake. You feel the urge to visit these magical places. All the characters are well developed and very realistic. It 's sweet to see grow and intensified the relationship between Jake and Paige.
It is written wonderfully well with a flowing and brilliant style, a great mystery with a touch of romance.
Highly recommended
