Synopsis

Carrie Kennersly, veterinary technician and owner of the Barkery and Biscuits bake shop, agrees to a day of hiking with her brother Neal mostly because she wants to meet—and critique—his latest romantic interest, Janelle Blaystone. But instead of judgment, Carrie has only sympathy for Janelle, whose beloved black Labrador, Go, was recently dognapped along with many other purebred pets.
Janelle thinks the culprit is Ada Arnist, a wealthy homeowner spotted at the dog parks where Go and the others were stolen. Soon after Janelle confronts her, though, Ada is found dead. With Janelle and Neal on the suspect list, Carrie must solve the mystery before the police bark up the wrong tree.

My Review

A few months ago I have read the first book in this series, "Bite the Biscuit" and I couldn't wait to read a new adventure of Carrie and her cute dog Biscuit. I liked it as the previous one. It 's a funny story where we meet some wonderful dogs.
Carrie owns a shop where she sells pastries for dogs and people and is also a part-time technical assistant in a veterinary clinic. She has just met Janelle, her new girlfriend of his brother Neal. Her dog  Go is dognapped. Janelle has a heated discussion with Ada, the person suspected of being involved with the disappearance of her dog. Go is found while Ada is killed. Janelle and Neal are the main suspects. Carrie will have to investigate to help her brother and her sister-in-law.
The plot flows well, the pace is sometimes a bit slow but never boring, the characters are realistic and lovable and the setting is really amazing.
If you love cozy mystery and  dogs this book is a must read
