My Review
A romantic story set in the world of baseball, how can one not love this book? I very much enjoyed it and I loved Bryce and Rachel.
Bryce is a famous baseball player and has just signed a contract very advantageous. Rachel is a sporting reporter who is about to start a promising career. A history between them could ruin their careers, especially that of Rachel: a journalist can't flirt with an athlete. Gossip could destroy them. But the attraction and passion between them is much stronger than fear, impossible to resist and commit a serious mistake. Rachel is pregnant. Bryce has no intention of backing out. Already he has a nine year old daughter who sees a few times a year and this time he wants to be a present father. But how can save Rachel's career? Maybe he has found a way to save it, just has to convince her.
It 's really well written and engaging. The plot catch you and keeps you glued to the pages. There are really romantic scenes and a dreamy marriage proposal, I really wanted to be Rachel in that moment.
Bryce is awesome, charming, rich and famous. He has a terrible marriage ended behind him and will not commit himself more. But he realizes that without Rachel can no longer stand. Rachel loves her independence and doesn' want his money nor a shotgun wedding. She wants a father for her son and a man who loves her. They are two great characters, I loved every second I spent with them.
It's the fourth book in the series "More Than A Game" but each book may be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.I have read only the last two books, I have to find time to go back to the beginning and read this series from the start.
I have no hesitation in recommending it highly.
