My Review
The protagonist Nichelle is a crime reporter with the obsession for shoes with high heels. She's almost boring when she receives a strange message on her computer and the notice that is found murdered a prominent doctor. Strangely her information source's mouth is closed and that intrigues her even more.
Nichelle is a great character, is a journalist smart, intuitive, but fair and proper, has the highest sensitivity and respect for people. she is not the classic journalist willing to do anything to write an article. She has two men to manage: her boyfriend Joey (who might have links with the Mafia) and former Kyle (who would not want to be more ex).
The plot is very interesting and well developed, the clues are delivered gradually until the last leaving the final unpredictable.
I read and thoroughly enjoyed it as a standalone book, even though it is actually part of the "Headline in High Heels Mystery" series. I can not wait to read the whole series.
If you are looking for a great mystery that will keep you guessing until the end who the murderer is then you need to read this book.
