Fairytales aren’t real…yeah…that’s exactly what Bianca thought. She was wrong.
For generations, the Frost family has run the Museum of Magical and Rare Artifacts, handing down guardianship from mother to daughter, always keeping their secrets to “family only.”
Gathered within museum’s walls is a collection dedicated to the Grimm fairy tales and to the rare items the family has acquired: Cinderella’s glass slipper, Snow White’s poisoned apple, the evil queen’s magic mirror, Sleeping Beauty’s enchanted spinning wheel…
Seventeen-year-old Bianca Frost wants none of it, dreaming instead of a career in art or photography or…well, anything except working in the family’s museum. She knows the items in the glass display cases are fakes because, of course, magic doesn’t really exist.
She’s about to find out how wrong she is.

When joined together, Cinderella's slippers grant the wearer her heart's desire. But whose wish will be granted?
When Cinderella’s glass slipper is stolen, Queen Felicia sends her faithful steward Terrance to the real world to retrieve his love and witch-in-training, Bianca Frost. The power of the glass slipper, when paired with its mate, and in the wrong hands, could ruin the peace of Everafter. Bianca must gather every bit of magic she has learned in the past few weeks to find the slipper and protect her new love. Together, Bianca, Ming, Prince Ferdinand, and Terrance venture deep into the heart of Everafter to seek clues as to who has stolen the slipper and why. Along the way, they uncover what happened to the Seven Dwarves after Snow White married the prince, but also learn the awful risk of tampering with black magic and the high price that must be paid for magic, even when used for good.
Bianca and Terrance’s relationship is put to the test. Through the pain of suffering and loss, Bianca must determine if following her gallant boyfriend into his faraway world is in fact her heart's desire.

My advice is to look at royalty free image websites like www.fotolia.com and find ONE image that stands out. One image that represents what your book is about and ask your publisher to consider it for the cover of your book. Your publisher is usually willing to work with authors.

What are your thoughts on book covers- in your opinion do they make or break a book?
People always say don’t judge a book by its cover but it’s the one thing that authors need to be very careful with. The cover can make or break your book. You need something that represents your series. A mistake that some authors make when it comes to their covers is that they try to put TOO MUCH on the cover. I’ve seen covers where there is a mountain, a cottage, a photoshopped moon, with the couple embracing on another corner and then add the title and the author’s name to the mix and it’s a giant mishmash.

Who do you consider the most swoon-worthy man in the literary world? How about on tv/in the movies?
Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre. He’s a little abrasive but he’s always been one of my favorite male characters.
In tv/movies? Colin O’Donoghue aka Captain Hook from Once Upon a Time.
What’s the last song you listened to?
Existentialism on Prom Night by Straylight Run.
How do you come up with character names? How do you come up with novel titles?
It really depends on the character. Sometimes the character appears with names, personality traits and everything in a neat little package. Sometimes all I have is a face and I have to come up with a name to go with it. Sometimes I’ll go on www.babynames.com and search until I find the right name with a meaning that is important to the character or the story.
It’s the same thing with the titles. Sometimes I have it from the get-go, other times I have to think long and hard before coming up with a good title.
Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?
Read everything you can get your hands on. Learn how to write a proper query letter and synopsis. There are a lot of great how-to-write books at the local library and bookstores. I would also check out Writers Digest & The Writer magazines, there are a lot of great articles in there.
