Mistletoe Magic

My Review

The cover of this novel is really adorable: I was immediately made ​​me want to read it. It 's a short story but very romantic and sweet, and especially full of the Christmas spirit: Christmas trees, colored lights, decorated houses, snow, mistletoe ... 

Caitlin Butler is a kindergarten teacher who loves her job very much, will spend Christmas alone doing homesitting for some friends. Noah Sullivan is a veterinarian who has put his career ahead of everything and does not have much spirit Christmas. 

Eve Caitlin located between the snow a kitten who is dying of cold and takes it immediately to a veterinary clinic where Noah is on duty. Noah e Caitlin were engaged at the time of the university: she was a freshman he was a senoir, and just before graduation, Noah broke her heart leaving her. Now meet after seven years, they are both changed. It is Christmas Eve and they're under the mistletoe: the magic of Christmas and a kitten heal their hearts? 

I loved everything about this short story: the plot, the characters, the Christmas atmosphere, the kitten ......

When dude ranch wrangler Charlotte – aka Charlie – Randall kisses Zack Harris in an act of empathy, she falls hat over spurs for the handsome military veteran turned cowboy. Zack has too many demons, however, and refuses to get involved. A year later, he's still stonewalling, and Charlie needs to move on with her life so she can find a fulfilling relationship, not frustrating unrequited love. Putting distance between them seems the best way to get Zack out of her head and heart...but that means quitting the job she loves and accepting a position in Colorado.

My review

It's the third novel in the series Montana Born Rodeo but you can read very well as standalone 

Charlotte aka Charlie Randall has always worked in Bar V5 since she graduated and has managed to be considered by everyone else at the same level as the boys. Zack is a veteran of the army. His family are his army buddies. Work at the ranch with Charlie. One day after learning of friend's death in Afghanistan, Charlie kiss him to confort. Charlie is very much in love but Zack does not want a story, it is against his rules having an affair at work. Charlie decides to leave the V5 because it can no longer work with the man she loves. Zack does not want to lose her and try to find someone to hang out to keep her from leaving. Charlie accepts, but every man compares it to Zack and loses the comparison. 

Will Zack to face his fears and his past and live fully his feelings? 

The two protagonists are two strong and very nice characters. Zack grew up with parents  that were thieves. When he enlisted in the army he found his very family. Even at the ranch has found a true friend and do not want to ruin his stability. Charlie is a woman who has neglected his female aspect to demonstrate its value as a cow-girl, has never been Charlotte.

It 's a sweet romance, on the value of friendship and the power of love. 

I enjoyed the environment of the ranch: horses, cowboy, rodeo, cowboys, cowboys ...... 

Among the characters we find also the protagonists of Mistletoe MAgic with their kitten: it's nice to see them again.

Mistletoe Wedding

Longer: Event planner at the Bar V5 Dude Ranch, Meg Redstone is dreaming of a white Christmas with twinkling lights, sparkly decorations and strategically placed mistletoe. She loves making dreams come true for others, whether planning a holiday wedding or giving her young daughter the best Christmas ever.

Ranch foreman Tyler Murphy loves the holidays, but his newest employee has taken over his barn with her over-the-top decorations. He admires Meg’s desire to give her daughter the perfect Christmas while planning a winter wonderland wedding, but he wants to show her that a Montana Christmas is more than glitter and lights.

After raising his younger sister, an instant family is not on Ty's Christmas wish list. But he finds himself falling hard for the single mom and her little girl. Meg, however, is not interested in a romance with a cowboy like Ty, or any man. Getting her under the mistletoe is going to take a Christmas miracle . . . or a little help from Santa.

My Review

Meg Redstone is a single mom of a wonderful 6 year old girl, Brooklyn. Meg is an organizer of events and evidence in the Bar  V5 in Marietta, Montana. She have to decorate the ranch for Christmas and organize a special wedding. It's the wedding of Caitlin and Noah, the protagonists of Mistotloe Magic. 

Ty Murphy is the owner of Bar V5, is a sexy guy but very sweet and has grown from just her sister. He was immediately attracted to Meg but does not want a story. But  Broklyn's weet will conquer and bring it closer to her mother. 

With these three books I'm completely in love with Marietta, the city in which play the three stories and Bar V5. A ranch decorated for Christmas, what I'd give to see it ........ 

All the characters are adorable: the sweet Brooklyn will captivate you from the very first meeting, an angel in the midst of many cowboy. Meg is a strong woman but sweet, a wonderful mother who dearly loves her job. Ty is a cowboy really sexy but is also a sweet man, especially with the small Brooklyn. And then the legendary Noah and Caitlin .... 

A wedding. A ranch decorated for Christmas. The snow. The lights. A beautiful little girl. A romantic and realistic love story and realistic. How can you not love the stories of McClone..

The clinic’s front door opened.

A woman in a puffy powder blue down coat entered. Her hat pushed long strands of brown hair over her face. She carried something bundled in a black and white checked fleece blanket. “Please help me.”

The crack in her voice and pale complexion sent him into action. Two long strides, he was at her side. “I’m Noah. A vet.”

Worried green eyes met his. Familiar eyes, except these weren’t as young and innocent as the ones he remembered. These eyes were wary and concerned. But they still reminded him of that girl he’d just thought about, the freshman with cute freckles and twinkling jade-green eyes.

Her gaze widened with recognition. “Noah. It’s you.”

His heart crashed against his chest. His world tilted.

“Caitlin.” His arm reached forward, as if touching her would assure him this —she—was real. That of all the vet clinics in Montana, she’d walked into this one. “I can’t believe it.”

“Me, either.” She gave her head a shake, then lifted the blanket toward him. “I found a kitten in the snow. Something’s wrong with him. Or her. I don’t know which. Can you help?”

Noah remembered where he was, what he was. He took the bundle, ignoring the million questions racing through his mind. Talking could wait.
