A new series by Melissa Foster means another enjoyable, fun, sexy and romantic adventure. She never disappoints.
Rick and Desiree fall in love at first glance, their first encounter is so exciting. Rick is driving his jet ski while Desiree is watching him from the beach. Rick has a business with a couple of friends in Washington DC but is spending the summer at Cape Code to help his brother and his friend restructure their resort. Desiree must help her mother with her job but it's a trap to allow her and her sister Violet to build a relationship. Rick and Desiree find themselves close to home and have to understand if their story is just a summer adventure or a great love story in which they must manage the distance.
The chemistry between the two protagonists is really hot. I love Rick's family, is so numerous and they are so united. Desiree's family, however, is very problematic, has grown far away from her mother and her sister and is very different from them. Her relationship with Rick will change her and will also change her family relationships.
This story is not just a sweet love story but also about friendship and family relationships. It was a very entertaining and fun reading with many scenes to laugh loudly.
This book is perfect as summer reading.
