I liked very much the first book of this series that I couldn't wait to read the sequel. I was not at all disappointed. You can not help but to love a book set in Hawaii and involving university and canoes.
Molly Barda teaches in a brilliant college in Hawaii where students have high chances of employment after graduation. But during a performance of canoes, an accident occurs and a girl dies. According to Molly there are many elements that doesn't convince her and with the help of her trusted colleagues, Emily and Pat, will try to solve the mystery.
I loved Molly and her friends, are really great characters, smart, funny and very realistic. It's written really well, is very engaging and entertaining with the right dose of humor and sarcasm. The plot is clever and well woven, the dialogue is brilliant.
If you love mysteries, Hawaii, the university environment and canoes this book is a must read.
