When flamboyant senior sleuth Sadie Kramer learns the owner of Cioccolato, her favorite chocolate shop, is in trouble, she heads for the California wine country with a tote-bagged Yorkie and a slew of questions. The fourth generation Tremiato Winery promises answers, but not before a dead body turns up at the vintners’ scheduled Harvest Festival.
All four Tremiato siblings have possible motives, as well as a few peripheral acquaintances, but only one could be the guilty party. As Sadie juggles truffles, tips and turmoil, she’ll need to sort the grapes from the wrath in order to find the identity of the killer.

Chocolate, wine, mystery, clothes: you can not help but love this story.
Sadie loves to solve mysteries. She's worried about her neighbor Matteo, in the past few days he has behaved very strangely. She decides to spend a weekend in the winery of his family, perhaps the problems are there. Matteo has chosen to work in the world of chocolate instead of following in the footsteps of his parents and work in their winery. And has done well, he is one of the best chocolatiers in San Francisco. Sadie is hoping to spend a few days relaxing instead will have to investigate a murder in which Matteo is one of the prime suspects.
Every book by Deborah Garner is a certainty of success, she never disappoints. Excellent and well developed plot, fascinating and well detailed descriptions, amazing setting and lovable characters. I look forward to reading the next adventure of Sadie.
