Review & Giveaway: Going For Two by Laura Chapman

Harper Duquaine is back for another season of fantasy football! This time she’s a year wiser and prepared to dominate the league. But while she finally seems to have her fantasy life in order, reality proves more challenging.

Her plans to peacefully play house with her boyfriend come to a halt when the high school suddenly names Brook its head football coach. The promotion comes with more responsibility on the field and less time at home. It also unexpectedly means more work for Harper, who already has her hands full helping a friend pull off the perfect proposal (while dodging questions about when she and Brook are going to get hitched already). Plus, a new development at work could leave her—and half of the fantasy league—jobless.

With the complications of her career and being “Mrs. Coach” adding up, Harper wonders if she’s committed to the life she’s already building or if there is something else out there.

My Review

A few yers ago I had read Hard Hats and Doormats, I liked it a lot and I was curious to read more of this author. I love books that mix romance and sports so I really enjoyed this one. The plot is original and funny and Harper and Brook are really great characters.
Harper continues to play Fantasy Football. She has a stable and happy relationship with Brook. But their equilibrium is upset when he is proposed to make the coach. He is always busy and also Haper has much work to do. She would like to support him in his career but they see less and less and Harper doesn't know if she has made the right choice. They will have to work hard to build their lives together.
Harper and Brook are a perfect couple and he's really amazing, a support for her. Harper is a very realistic character with her many qualities but her  little and adorable defects. Very well developed and lovable are also the secondary characters.
It 's a likeable chick lit, exciting, full of humor with an interesting background about football. Hoping and waiting that comes out the third book, I absolutely want  read the first one.
If you love chick-lit and football this book is a must read
