CHRISTMAS AT THE COVE
Temptation Cove #4
Released November 4th, 2015
Scott Walker doesn't have time for a relationship. The sexy mechanic has career ambitions, not to mention a mother and three sisters to take care of. The last thing he needs is Carrie Jameson, the beauty he never forgot, arriving in Templeton Cove over the holidays with some unexpected news.
Scott still finds Carrie irresistible, and he's not one to shirk responsibility. Scott's issues with his own dad make the prospect of parenthood a minefield. But if he and Carrie can overcome their fears, this Christmas could bring them the best gift of all.
A romantic and troubled love story set in a quiet British town during the Christmas season: how can you not love this novel?
Carrie is on holiday in Templeton Cove and knows Scott. The attraction between them is very strong and have a brief love story. She becomes pregnant but knows that Scott will never be able to raise a child. She decides not to say anything and to grow her daughter alone. Three years later her husband died, she realizes she made a big mistake and thinks that Scott should know the truth. He's very upset. He never forgot Carrie but doesn't know if he can still trust her, Can they be a family?
The characters are very real, they have many virtues but also defects. Scott never had a lasting relationship, is always passed from one woman to another. But he is not so bastard, is very devoted to his family and friends and is a hard worker. Carrie would like to follow her feelings and build a family with Scott but she is afraid that he is unable to keep his commitments. For her, the most important thing is the happiness of her daughter and will do anything to get it. Little Belle is really adorable.
This was my first time reading a book by this author, and I can say with complete certainty that it will not be my last! It is part of the series "Temptation Cove" but can be read easily as standalone.
It 's a moving and heartwarming story but not dramatic, is a sweet romance that is just perfect to get into the Christmas spirit.
If you enjoy reading sweet romance, then definitely pick this up!
