Synopsis: Levi Black is an s.o.b.
Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he’s a pretentious, obnoxious, womanizing jacka** who thinks the world revolves around him.
He wouldn’t be wrong.
A famous soccer player, his skills on and off the field have won him medals, trophies, women, and the cover of every heartthrob magazine in the country. He’s broken nearly every bone in his body and a few hearts along the way, including mine—his stepsister—and lived to tell about it.
One night changed everything, and I’ve avoided him like the plague ever since. Just long enough to finish college, to bury the hurt, and to outrun the memories. But now that’s all changed. I’m back, and there’s no more running.
My hands are supposed to be my livelihood, but now they’re my curse. Levi’s reckless ways have landed him in a sticky situation, and his father has given me an offer I can’t refuse. One month, and all I have to do is put my hands on his body. Easier said than done. The problem is, even though I know it’s bound to bite me in the a**, I can’t bring myself to say no to the s.o.b.
My Review
I really enjoyed reading this book. In fact, I read it in two days. The plot kept me on edge from start to finish. I was excited each time I got to turn the page.
Levi and Vista meet for the marriage of their parents. He is a soccer star and the son of a famous billionaire: he can only be a playboy. She is a simple girl, sweet, affectionate and it is inevitable that he break her heart. Now Vista hopes to open early her own rehabilitation center. But she needs a loan. She thinks that her mother's husband can help her. But he will give her his money on one condition: she must help Levi to overcome his injury, must live a month with him but should not have a relationship. Living together will learn to know each other better, perhaps Levi is not the bad boy and heartless that she met a few years earlier. They are very attracted to each other and give in to passion. Levi's father does not approve and will do anything to divide them. Will he succeed? Levi has really changed or break his heart again?
Levi is a great character and you can not help but love him: he's beautiful, arrogant, womanizer but conceals a sweet side, you just need to be abke to find it.The chemistry between Levi and Vista is really strong, together they are very special.
The story was light and easy to read with charming characters, good pace and witty dialogue. This was a truly engaging and delightful read. It was the perfect book for a quiet afternoon read!
I recommend it to those who love romance, especially ones involving stepbrothers
