SNOWBOUND AT CHRISTMAS
Christmas, Colorado #5
Releasing Sept 29th, 2015
Ex-cop Cat O'Connor is bored working for her sister, Chloe, as a personal assistant on the set of her soap opera. Until Chloe gets an opportunity to audition for the role of a lifetime and asks her identical twin to substitute for her on the soap with no one the wiser. It's a perfect switch-until Cat attracts the attention of the mysterious Mr. Tall, Dark, and Way-too-handsome leading man.
Grayson Alexander never thought being snowbound in the charming town of Christmas, Colorado, for the holiday would get so hot. But between working with sexy, tough Cat on set and keeping his real reason for being there under wraps, he's definitely feeling the heat. And if there's one thing they'll learn as they bring out the mistletoe, it's that in this town, true love is always in season.
Finally another magical journey in the welcoming town of Christmas, Colorado. I could not wait to read it.
This story was really compelling, is sweet and romantic, and there is also a mystery to solve.
Chloe and Cat are identical twins but only physically. Chloe is a successful actress, bossy, spoiled who loves being the center of attention while Cat is just her assistant and is a loyal and gritty girl. She's tired of her job and hates Hollywood. She wants to return to her beloved Christmas. But an attempt on Chloe makes her change her mind: her sister needs her protection. The FBI agent Grayson Alexander is dispatched to investigate undercover, must pretend to be an actor, a British lord. He's also forced to take a little weird manager, his rebellious grandmother who has just made hunting by yet another nursing home. Cat is the main suspect for Grayson, maybe is envious of the success of her sister. But knowing her better it turns out really attracted to her. Too bad he has to pretend to be in love with Chloe to try to find the attacker. Due to various problems, the cast must move to Christmas to shoot some scenes. Just over Christmas .....
The storyline flowed perfect, the characters are really lovable, even the secondary. It was a funny story, with much humor and several twists, a really enjoyable read.
I eagerly await a new story set at Christmas.
