My Review
It 's a quick read, funny, romantic but not at all trivial. The beginning is amazing. In addition to it sets in a fabulous place: a private island on Hawaii where there is a family's resort and breathtaking waterfalls.
Quinn is a nice divorced guy, has nearly thirty years, has two intrusive parents, three brothers and a sister, and has one purpose in life: work, work, work. One day will direct the island resort in place of his father and makes sure to be ready but this leads him to work so many hours of the day and not think about anything else. His marriage is over for this but also because there was no love.
Larissa was very bad but now the nightmare seems to be over. She makes the masseuse in the resort and is about to be confirmed for the whole year. It 's a dream come true: work in a beautiful island and be able to pay for medical care in case the disease reappears. Until Quinn, the son of her boss, makes an indecent proposal. The girl is almost tempted to accept, just because she needed a job to have health coverage, but fortunately refuses. It's a test of the family to assess her reliability: they were disappointed by the previous masseuse who has sullied the family name.
Once clarified the situation, between Quinn and Larissa comes slowly something but he is too focused on work and threatens to ruin everything! Will Larissa to become more important than work?
It 's a perfect summer reading, perhaps on the beach, but it's fine at any time of the year to dream a wonderful holiday on a beautiful island.
