North was on track to go nowhere. According to his brothers, ice skating was a hobby not a career. That didn’t stop him from dreaming of an Olympic Medal. Even if it was an impossible dream without a coach.

Hadley had been on track to the Olympics when a skating accident left her crippled and unable to skate. With no future plan other than skating Hadley returns home tired and broken. She would never be again, an Olympic ranked skater.

When their tracks collide North finds hope and a future in Hadley. She could be everything he needs her to be. She could help him reach that elusive dream.

Hadley’s trying to find her future. That path doesn’t necessarily include North. North is a skater with his eyes set on a medal, and Hadley can never be again. She just wanted peace.

Leaving tracks is for North to do. Hadley has already cut hers into the ice.

My Review

I love ice skating so when I saw the cover I could not wait to read it. I was not disappointed.

North lives and works on a farm with his three brothers. He's skating enthusiast and dreams of competing in the Olympics but his brothers are opposed, especially Thierry, was responsible for their activities. This passion he inherited from his mother even though she claimed the lives. North was 13 and he was skating with her when the ice has melted, the boy was saved but the mother did not have it done. The father for the pain started to drink and a few months after he had an accident and so were left orphans. North is exercised alone without a coach and in his spare time that rarely gives him his brother.
Hadley is a skating champion but can not compete because of a bad injury. Back at home the other two sisters who live near the farm boys.
After a bit of hesitation, Hadley agrees to become coach of North. But the growing attraction between the two does not help them ..... North will achieve his dream?
It 's a pleasant read, sweet and funny. A must read for anyone who loves ice skating.
